LITURGICAL MINISTRIES Acolytes - Open to men to assist priests and deacons with Mass and preparation in the liturgy. Altar Servers - Open to young men and women, 3rd grade and up, interested in assisting the priest at Mass in the sanctuary. Eucharistic Ministers - Open to confirmed men and women, to assist with distribution of Holy Communion during Mass. Hospitality Ministers - Open to all persons interested in welcoming new parishioners to the parish. Lectors - Open to men & women to proclaim the Word of God at Mass. Music/Choir - Open to all qualified musicians and singers who are willing to lead the faithful in prayer during Mass and other parish liturgies. Sacristans - Open to men and women to assist priests and deacons with Mass preparation and in the liturgy.
YOUTH FAITH FORMATION Children's Faith Formation (PreK-5th Grade) - Catechists, Teachers Aids, Hall Helpers; Teen and older needed. Youth Ministry (Jr. High & High School) - Energetic adults who enjoy working with teenagers during the week.
ADULT FAITH OPPORTUNITIES Small Faith Groups Adult Bible Studies Book Clubs
SOCIAL OUTREACH Altar Society - Men and women 18 years and older to assist in providing and caring for the church. COMPASSION AND HOSPITALITY MINISTRY - Provide support & assistance with funeral receptions and as needed. GRIEF SUPPORT - Open to all to assist those in the grieving process due to the loss of loved ones. HOMEBOUND/HOSPITAL/NURSING HOME - Open to all her are trained Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to visit and administer to those unable to attend Mass (Wednesday mornings). Catholic Daughters of America - Open to all women (18+) to participate in religious, charitable and educational apostolates of the Church.
SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT MARIAN PRAYER GROUP - Open to all to pray the Rosary per the request of the Blessed Mother at Fatima. ST. JOSEPH'S SOCIETY - Open to ALL men who desire to grow in their relationship with God as we look to St. Joseph for wisdom and guidance.
SPIRITUAL FELLOWSHIP Ecumenical & Interreligious Affairs - Open to all to build relationships with other Christian communities and members of other religions Knights of Columbus Council #17812 - Open to all men 18 and older to participate in social and charitable functions benefiting the Church, community and state charities Young Adults - Offering fellowship and formation to those age 18-39 through spiritual, social and service opportunities Young at Heart Club - Open to all senior adults for fellowship activities
SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION Adult Confirmation - Open to Catholics who would like to complete their Sacraments of Initiation and receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Baptism Classes First Communion and Reconciliation - Two year process, typically 1st and 2nd grade Teen Confirmation - High school students who are active in Youth Ministry or attend a Catholic High School can prepare to receive the Sacrament. Anointing of the Sick - Catholics who are seriously sick, facing surgery, or otherwise in need of healing graces. Please do not wait until it is too late to receive this Sacrament. Marriage Preparation - Assist couples in preparation for the Sacrament of Marriage. RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults - Open to non-Catholics to receive Sacraments in the Church. Vocations - Open to parishioners to promote and pray for vocations. Take home the vocations chalice at Mass and pray for vocations in your domestic church.
