In October 1911, Holy Rosary Parish was officially established in Rosenberg, Texas, after six years of occasional Catholic services by various visiting priests. Our parish’s 100 years of existence is rich with a history of sacrifice and devotion. From the first Mass said in the Baker home (presently Garmany–Carden Funeral Home on Fourth St.), to the first wooden frame church that burned down in the 1920s, to the beautiful church and parish complex we have today, our parish story is one abundant in sacrifice, devotion, generosity, and vision.
Accordingly, the parish held a year-long celebration from October 2010 to October 2011.
