Dear People of God, When I first came here and heard that there was a renovation project, I was excited and a little scared because this was a new adventure for me. Along this journey I have gotten to know parishioners and the history of this parish in a most special way (down to every brick and how they were laid). It is with great honor that I walk this journey with you on this important project. I have surrounded myself with experts and awesome folks who will help us to renovate and protect our beautiful building for many generations to enjoy. It has taken us longer than expected to get started, but it was necessary to do the research since we have very interesting issues and situations with our historical and beautiful church. I have asked our Architects to write a column in this issue of the bulletin to catch you up on the studies and projects we have been working on over the past 6 months. You will see that it does not just involve a fast paint job but a very scientific process to make sure we protect and repair our beautiful church. I am as excited as you to get this show on the road but I know we will be so pleased when this project comes to completion. We Are the Church!!! May the Christ Child Bless You Abundantly, Fr.
