Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week. On Thursday evening, the church celebrates the institution of the Eucharist. Once again, Jesus is our Pascal Lamb who is sacrificed. On Holy Thursday, we remember Jesus washing the apostles’ feet as a sign of unity and service.
On Good Friday, we celebrate the Lord’s Passion and sacrifice on the cross. There is no Mass celebrated on Good Friday but there will be a Solemn Veneration of the Cross and a Communion Service.
Easter Vigil will begin at 8:00 p.m. Saturday night. We will tell the story of salvation and receive those who are coming into the church.
Then on Sunday - EASTER - we celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Alleluia!! Let us enter into these holy days to follow the example of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Peace and Love,
Father Bill Bartniski
