Welcome to Fr. Orrin Halepeska!
Dear People of God,
I am so excited to meet you and to get to know you!!! Please help me to get to know you by introducing yourself and by telling me your name each time you do!!! Please know that my door is always open to serve and to work with you to make our parish awesome!!!
I know that I cannot make our parish awesome by myself but that I will need all of you to work along my side to continue the legacy and faith of our parish. Please help me by sharing your time, talents, and treasure with your community. We have great things in store for us!!!
I do not come to this parish to take Fr. Bill’s place. I could never do that!!! I come as your Pastor to help continue the work that You and Fr. Bill have started. With great enthusiasm, I hope to meet each staff member, group leader, and ministry leader to get to better know how I can serve you!!! Please call the office to make an appointment. I beg you to ask the Blessed Mother to Pray for us and to guide us as we begin the next Chapter here at Holy Rosary Catholic Church!!!

A little bio about Fr. Orrin:Fr. Orrin grew up on a Cattle Ranch in South Texas near Goliad. He enjoyed riding horses and being outside. After graduating from Goliad High School in 2000, he began college looking to become a pharmacist. After working at HEB, becoming involved in the Catholic Center at the University of Houston, and getting a degree in Health Education, he decided to enter the seminary. He attended Holy Trinity Seminary in Irving to study philosophy, went on to seminary at St. Mary’s in Houston, and then Creighton University in Omaha to get a second master’s in Spirituality and a certificate in Spiritual Direction. His first assignment was at Christ the Redeemer as the Parochial Vicar for 3 years. His second assignment has been on the Island of Galveston as Parochial Vicar since on July 4, 2015. Fr. Orrin also enjoy practicing SpiritualDirection for deaconate candidates and the lay faithful.We welcome Fr. Orrin to our parish family!
